Weekly Theme: Olympics
Oh man, this one seemed like the hardest one to design. Yes this took me 2 hours to design. A puck, logo and some text. Yikes. It got pretty frustrating at the end.
As for the actual design, this hockey tournament is going to be insane. I believe, and it seems like popular opinion around town, that the success or failure of Vancouver 2010 Games will solely be based on the Men’s Gold Medal game. If Canada for some strange reason isn’t able to play that game, it will be a huge let down for the games and the country. This might not be fair to the other athletes in other sports, but the success will come down to what the little 3 inch piece of rubber decides to do.

I’ve been pro-olympics from the beginning, but even I know that the Olympics won’t be worth it if Canada doesn’t win gold in men’s hockey. No other medal matters.

All the hype Canada alone has been building up is based around this hockey team. We are putting our marbles in one basket.
I like stories. From the perspective of the one thing people least expect but most of the time see.

I see the relation between the text and the puck.
Put a Vancouver 2010 Olympics logo and done.
But you might need something there to connect the Gatorade brand. I guess you were thinking heart?
I am not sure, I have not looked at Gatorade adds in detail.
Powerful language
This might be your best hockey design yet. Gatorade or some other company could have used this for the Games.
