Weekly Theme: Sharpie Expressions

New week, new design. I love photographs created around facial expressions drawn by a sharpie. Something about the raw and rough look it provides the polished piece.

So I found this green pepper at home and right away saw the bottom of it looked like a face. Drawing on the expression was easy, but I did 15 practice runs on paper before doing the actual expression. The photo was taken with a white back drop, which was blown out even more in Photoshop. Even the expression got blown out (experiment) and it almost starts looking fake. Might have to ease off on it for the next ones.
